Lee Tony James Palmer, 19, of Cotlandswick, London Colney, St Albans. On February 29, 2016, used a vehicle without insurance. On same date, used a vehicle without a licence. Fine, costs: £714. Six penalty points.

Friday, November 11

Katherine Louise Ashworth, 38, of Abbots Avenue West, St Albans. On October 10, 2016, stole numerous items of perfume and clothing belonging to TK Maxx. On October 27, 2016, stole perfume items belonging to Boots. On October 26, 2016, failed to attend an initial assessment to establish whether she was dependent on a class a drug. On October 19, 2016, failed to attend a follow-up assessment. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Committed to prison. Overall length of sentence 30 weeks. Costs: £115.

Justin Lee Sycamore, 38, of Bricket Road, St Albans. On November 10, 2016, stole perfume belonging to Debenhams. Commission of a further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge order. Community order made. Costs: £170.

Jason John Johnstone, 42, of Coach Mews, St Albans. On August 23, 2016, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs: £105.

Tuesday, November 15

Phillippa Mary Havard, 55, of Hopkins Crescent, Sandridge, St Albans. On August 6, 2016, stole meat belonging to Co-Op. On September 25, 2016, stole numerous packets of meat belonging to BP. On October 30, 2016, stole packs of meat belonging to Sainsbury. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Committed to prison. Overall length of sentence six weeks. Compensation: £30.

Nicholas James Robin Farmer, 24, of Ladies Grove, St Albans. On May 29, 2016, assaulted a person by beating him. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 150 hours within the next 12 months. Fine, compensation, costs: £1,377.

David John Holmes, 37, of Sandridge Road, St Albans. On January 9, 2016, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Disqualified from driving for 14 days. Fine, costs: £654.

Daniel Brian Wayne Aldridge, 40, of Hall Gardens, Colney Heath, St Albans. On October 27, 2016, assaulted a police constable in the execution of his duty. Fine, compensation, costs: £245.
