Students were given the chance to talk politics with the leader of the Liberal Democrats party.
Tim Farron, joined by members of his party, visited sixth form students from the Sandringham and Beaumont Schools on Tuesday.
Students asked him about the current UK and international political climate, his motivations for being in politics and his plans as party leader.
They also discussed Brexit negotiations and the House of Lords, and St Albans parliamentary candidate Daisy Cooper gave advice on how to get involved in politics.
Director of sixth form at Sandringham School Kate Mouncey said: "The meeting was a rare opportunity to meet and hear from such a high-profile politician. It supports our work to encourage political engagement in our sixth form students."
And head boy Dominic Boost said: "The talk enabled us to have a valuable discussion about the national and global issues facing us today."
