From Mad Hatters to Harry Potters and Willy Wonkas - they'll all be heading off to school today as St Albans celebrates World Book Day.
Children and teachers across the county will be dressed as their favourite book characters for the national celebration.
World Book Day is held every year to celebrate the magic of stories and pictures, and to show just how much fun books and reading can be.
And this year is special as it is the 20th anniversary of the event.
