Rugby players help Nando's staff in a takeover to raise money for charity.
On February 21, the Saracens Sport Foundation held a Nando's takeover event at the Nando's St Albans branch in Chequer Street.
The Saracens Rugby Club players came to help the waiting staff take orders and serve, signed autographs and answer questions from the audience.
The evening helped the Saracens Sport Foundation to raise £4,000 to go towards continuing on projects across Hertfordshire and North London such as our disABILITY sport programmes where more than 350 people with disabilities regularly take part in the Love to Dance programme aimed at people 55 and over with more than 320 people participate every week, keeping bodies and minds active.
Leanne Young, of the Foundation, said: "On behalf of the Foundation, thank you to everyone that came to donate and support us on the night and also a massive thank you to Nando’s St Albans and all of the staff for hosting the event and supporting the Foundation."
