A RISING star continues to make waves after recently finishing in the top 20 at a gymnastics competition.
Michael Ridgway, 13, from St Albans, has competed in the English Championships in Redbridge, East London and the British Championships in Liverpool, where he finished 16th.
The Marlborough Science Academy pupil scored 67.00, showing great poise and composure.
The young gymnast performed in the same arena as his hero Max Whitlock, who was competing in the men’s competition.
Michael has a younger brother, Matthew, who is also making strides in gymnastics.
