St Albans City will be looking to qualify for the third round for the first time in the club’s history and the fixture against Boreham Wood will be the club’s second in a row on national television.

Six TV games were announced by the Emirates FA Cup today.

It includes the Hertfordshire derby which will kick off at Meadow Park stadium in Borehamwood at 7.45pm on December 6.

The game will be broadcast live on ITV 4.

Boreham Wood announced this week St Albans City will be given around 1,000 tickets for the match.

After the victory over League Two leaders Forest Green on BBC 2 on Sunday, Saints manager Ian Allinson said it was "fantastic" for the city.

The tie against Boreham Wood will see Allinson return to his former club. The ex-Arsenal winger has had two spells with the south Hertfordshire side, including managing Boreham Wood for seven years between 2008 and 2015.
