The Herts Big Weekend is back for 2023!

It’s that time again for Hertfordshire residents to enter the Herts Big Weekend, with the opportunity to win free tickets to a host of tourist attractions and activities across the county.

Lucky ticket holders chosen from the online ballot will be able to redeem their days out for Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, 2023.

If you are a Hertfordshire resident, you can apply for some of this year’s amazing offers and free tickets that are available right on your doorstep on the Herts Big Weekend website, www.hertsbigweekend.co.uk.

Simply enter the online ballot before June 12 for the chance to win a pair of free tickets to top attractions across the county.

Some of the amazing attractions offering tickets in this year’s giveaway include Hanbury Manor, Knebworth House, Hertfordshire zoo Paradise Wildlife Park, Tewinbury Farm, The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead, St Albans' Verulamium Museum, The Grove, Willows Activity Farm, and Campus West in Welwyn Garden City.

Others include Standalone Farm in Letchworth, Hertford Castle tours, Natural History Museum Tring, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, Whipsnade Zoo, St Albans Cathedral, Sopwell House and more.

There are more than 100 tickets up for grabs in this year’s ballot and the Herts Big Weekend is the perfect excuse to get out and discover - or rediscover - exactly what makes our charming county so special.

Deirdre Wells OBE is the CEO at Visit Herts, the destination management organisation for the county.

She said: “We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Herts Big Weekend, which is our chance to gift something back to Hertfordshire residents, and share the many world-class attractions and amazing hidden gems that offer unforgettable days out, right on their doorstep.

"With over 100 free tickets up for grabs in this year’s ballot, it’s the perfect opportunity for Hertfordshire residents to visit some of the county’s much-loved attractions, and discover just how much there is to see and do right here in Hertfordshire.”

Residents can apply for as many pairs of tickets as they wish at www.hertsbigweekend.co.uk, until June 12. Following this, tickets will be allocated at random by ballot and winners will be notified via email.

The Herts Big Weekend team are also continuing to add new tickets as part of this year’s ballot, so if you are a Hertfordshire-based business and you’d like to be part of this year’s event, simply get in touch at enquiries@visitherts.co.uk as soon as possible.
