A "bigger and better" Harpenden Carnival took place last weekend, which saw families flock to Harpenden Common for entertainment, food and drinks.

“Every year this free-to-enter event draws thousands of people of all ages to enjoy music, performances, stalls, activities and non-stop entertainment – and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.

"Not only is it a great day out for all the family, but the carnival also celebrates local businesses, volunteers and community groups whilst raising substantial amounts of money for several good causes."
