A woman in her 80s has sustained "life-threatening injuries" during a crash in Radlett.

The incident took place in Watling Street at around 1.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, June 27).

According to Hertfordshire police, a gold Vauxhall Grandland and the woman were involved in a collision on the road's southbound carriageway.

The woman was then taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Vauxhall remained at the scene, and no arrests have been made.

Sergeant Timothy Davies said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.

“Did you see what happened, or have any information that may help our enquiries

"Additionally, if you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded come crucial footage that could assist our investigation.”
