A MAN arrested in Hatfield in connection with the murder of Richard Long has been charged by police.
The 22-year-old father-of-three, from Houghton Regis, was shot dead in Luton on September 1 as he tried to escape the gunmen.
Niall McErlane, of Heacham Close, Luton, was arrested at a house in the Salisbury Village area of Hatfield in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A 17-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has already been remanded in custody charged with the murder.
