As many as ten nomination forms have been submitted for the London Colney Parish Council by-election.
Mike Lovelady, the returning officer for St Albans District Council, said: “We can confirm that we have received a valid request from ten electors to fill the vacancy in the north west ward of London Colney Parish Council and therefore we will now be holding a by-election.
"No date has been set at this stage for the by-election.”
