THE boss of First Capital Connect has been invited to the House of Commons next week to meet with MP Anne Main over the on-going drivers' dispute.
For more than a month commuters travelling on the Thameslink line – which runs through St Albans – have been faced with delays and service cuts.
Trains on the Bedford to Brighton route were cancelled as a result of a row between First Capital Connect (FCC) drivers and bosses over pay and working on rest days. A large number of drivers refused to work overtime abandoning their service.
St Albans MP Anne Main and North East Bedfordshire MP Alistair Burt have invited Mary Grant from FCC on Wednesday, December 9, to meet them and other MPs who constituents who have been affected by the problems.
