THE GALLERIA was among the prime targets of a suspected al-Qaeda terrorist attack, it has been revealed by a national newspaper.
The illegal immigrant - not named by police - filmed potential sites for a terror plot, including the shopping centre in Hatfield.
The Algerian man, who has since been deported by police, also filmed tourist spots and other shopping centres across England and Wales.
The footage was released after police officers caught him filming at Liverpool Street railway station, fearing it was a potential target.
