Patients in Hertfordshire have been reminded to get their repeat prescriptions before pharmacies and GP surgeries close their doors for the Christmas break.
Some practices could be closed for up to five days between Christmas Eve and Tuesday, December 29.
So West Hertfordshire Primary Care Trust has urged people to stock up on medication they will need until the end of the month.
