FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue early this morning when some delivery men became trapped in a lift.
A crew from St Albans Fire Station was called to the Maltings shopping centre at about 6.50am and forced open the lift's faulty doors using hydraulic equipment.
The men were trapped for nearly an hour but nobody was hurt.
