AN accident on the M1 motorway is causing delays for rush hour commuters between junctions five (Watford/A41) and six (North Watford/Bricket Wood).
The collision, involving one vehicle, on the northbound carriageway of the motorway happened shortly before 4.30pm this afternoon.
Highways engineers are currently at the scene clearing debris off the road. The vehicle, thought to be a Renault Clio, is awaiting recovery on the hard shoulder.
No one has been injured.
Traffic is said to be moving slowly between the two junctions.
