The impact of asthma and allergies on young people will be discussed at the second open evening hosted by the Alex Curtis Memorial Trust.
The charity was set up by Peter Curtis in memory of his son, who died suddenly in February 2007 from an acute asthma attack.
Alex, a member of the sixth form at Nicholas Breakspear School, St Albans, was 17 years old when he died.
The evening, to be held on November 10 at the De Havilland campus of the University of Hertfordshire, will hear presentations from Professor Stephen Durham, Asthma and Allergy specialist at Imperial College and Royal Brompton Hospital; and Dr Sharon Hall, consultant paediatric allergist at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage.
For more information, telephone Peter Curtis on 07958 436985 or email peter.curtis@alexcurtistrust.org.
