VALUABLE items of jewellery were stolen during a burglary in Sandridge last week.
It is believed at some point between 6.30am and 7pm on Tuesday, November 16, the home in Langley Grove was broken into.
The home was ransacked and several items including jewellery, a laptop and clothing were stolen.
Detective Constable Wendy Tomlinson said: “The burglary occurred during the daytime and there may be people in the area who saw suspicious behaviour and I would appeal for them to come forward.
“One of the items of jewellery stolen was a gold cross necklace with a blue sapphire stone in the centre of the cross. The gold on the cross is also patterned. I would be keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered this item for sale.”
Anyone with information can call police 0845 33 00 222.
