A DANCE school in St Albans is expanding for the first time since it was formed in 1979.

The Penny Waterman School of Dance, which was run single handedly by Penny Waterman, is being restructured and introduced in different areas of Hertfordshire.

Penny has announced she will share her expertise with the growing dance school.

Clare Axon will run the St Albans south area which covers Highfield, St Stephens and Cottonmill Lane and Victoria Markham will be responsible for St Albans east, including the Marshalswick and Jersey Farm areas. Plans are underway to launch Harpenden and Redbourn and Shenley and Bricket Wood classes as well as Potters Bar, Goffs Oak & Cuffley.

The school currently provides classes for children in ballet, tap, disco jazz, street jazz, dance school musical and musical theatre as well as ballet, tap, pilates and zumba classes for adults.
