THE popular Harpenden Common discovery day is returning this weekend.
The free family event will include a wide range of activities including sheep shearing, falconry displays, laser clay shooting, circus workshops and ferret racing.
Residents will also be able to take part in the welly wanging competition and there will be children's sports and craft activities.
For the first time there will also be a fun dog show at 3.15pm, categories include most handsome dog, prettiest girl dog, best puppy, waggiest tail and most like the owner.
