Three customers had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped in a lift at a St Albans bank today.
The men called the fire brigade themselves after they became stuck between floors at the Natwest bank, in St Peters Street, at about 2pm.
Firefighters were able to cut the power supply, before manually lowering the lift and opening the doors ten minutes after they received the call.
