Police not linking St Albans leisure centre blaze to London riots

POLICE are not linking the Batchwood Golf and Tennis Centre blaze to the London riots.
A statement released by Hertfordshire Constabulary this morning states: "This is not thought to be linked in any way to any of the disorder that has taken place in London."
The centre in Batchwood Drive remains closed, firefighters and police officers remain on the scene and a full investigation into the cause will take place.
