ENJOYa sumptuous three course meal, entertainment, a charity raffle and auction at the Mayor’s Charity Banquet and Ball on Saturday 18 February at Hatfield House.

The event is in aid of the Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield's charities: The Royal British Legion and the Community and Voluntary Service (CVS).

The ticketed event is open to all and takes place in the stunning surroundings of The Old Palace at Hatfield House. Arrival is from 6.30pm for a 7pm meal, after which there will be entertainment and dancing until midnight. The dress code is formal evening wear.

Councillor Carl Storer, Mayor of Welwyn Hatfield, said: “This is always a great event because the location is beautiful, the food and entertainment are terrific and we’re raising money for some great causes. I really appreciate people digging deep and getting their tickets for what promises to be an entertaining and enjoyable night.”

* The Mixed Group and Singing for Pleasure will also receive a donation from the funds raised on the evening. The Mixed Group is a local charity that provides annual Christmas Day meal for lonely and elderly residents living within the borough of Welwyn Hatfield. Singing for Pleasure is a group for those who just want to sing; no formal auditions are held. They play at events around the borough.
