Golfers in Redbourn have raised more than £1000 for charity by walking eight miles across Hertfordshire.
30 members of Redbourn Golf Club, along with their friends and families, took on the challenge to raise cash for the Pepper Foundation on Saturday, May 26.
The Pepper Foundation works to fund home care for seriously ill children in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Ian McDowell, general manager at the club, said: “Over the years our members and visitors to the club have helped to raise thousands of pounds for charity through a wide variety of events both on and off the course.
“The charity walk was another fine example of the kind heartedness of our members and those who use the extensive facilities at Redbourn.”
