Out cycling with a friend and spotted these two guys (sorry, don't know their names) putting up an information board naming the three sheet steel portraits on the Upper Lea Valley Way. If you've ever wondered who the figures are: Eric Morecambe who lived in Harpenden and supported Luton football club; Capability Brown who remodelled Luton Hoo landscape in the 18th century; and a member of the 1st Luton Sea Scouts. Great viewpoint overlooking the valley. Sorry, don't know any more, but thought you might be interested.
