Defending Challenge Cup holders Harvesters Under-10 North were in fine goalscoring form as they defeated Borehamwood Youth Reds 8-1.

Jack McShane fired Harvesters in front when he found the net with a great strike from 20 yards.

It was 2-0 shortly after and despite Borehamwood getting one back, it was Harvesters that controlled the game.

McShane, Tom Platts, Jack Mitchell and Josh Forester all bagged braces to put Harvesters comfortably in the next round.

Carly Amor and Nikita Bedi got on the scoresheet as Harvesters Under-12 girls ran out victorious with a 2-0 win over Hitchin Belles Blues.

However, they had goalkeeper and player of the match Mollie Herrington to thank after she put in a fantastic performance.

The Under-11 girls were impressive in their 5-0 defeat of Hampstead.

An Annika Hanton brace was added to by goals from Eve Shaw, Rachel King and Amalie Newman. The two sides meet again this weekend.

Harvesters Under-13s were unfortunate to go down to a late deflected Enfield goal in a 2-1 defeat.

After a first-half equaliser by Bolu Fisher and an impressive performance by Rebecca McShane, the ending was cruel in a game they didn’t deserve to lose.

The Under-16 North came from behind against Highgate and Muswell Hill to continue their impressive winning run with a 2-1 success.

After going behind early in the first half, James Lynch equalised with ten minutes to go before man-of-the-match Giancarlo Merlo’s last-minute overhead kick clinched a dramatic win.
