Harpenden Lawn Tennis Club hosted their 29th annual Open Seniors tournament.
Competitors travelled from as far as Scotland in order to compete in the event with approximately 80 men and 15 ladies taking part.
Harpenden's Joy Allsopp was the winner of the 50 and over singles while John Barnett celebrated the 75 and over title.
The oldest competitor over the weekend was 84-year old Leonard Lawrence, currently ranked number two in the country in the over 80 category.
Peter Yeoman, Harpenden finalist alongside Marcus Stapleton in the 45 and over doubles said: "It’s a real treat to play such competitive grass court tennis, with people coming from far and wide to participate.
"It’s a great environment and was lovely to have a drink and a chat with the guys after the match."
