St Albans remain top of Herts Division Two B after their 61-run victory over Hemel Hempstead Town Seconds on Saturday.
After being put into bat, St Albans managed to score a total of 248 for eight from their innings.
Opener Jonny Hall scored 27 but the stand-out performer was Max Capaldi in the middle order as he notched a valuable 86. Sandipan Chanda added 37 and Phil Caley chipped in with 64 to steer them to an imposing total.
In reply, Hemel could only muster a total of 187 all out in 41.4 overs.
Capaldi claimed five for 43 and Mbekezeli Mabuza also made a significant contribution taking four for 58.
St Albans Seconds were held to a draw against Harpenden Thirds in Division Four B.
Their opponents managed to compile a total of 242 for seven from 45 overs.
St Albans went close to surpassing this but ran out of overs on 238 for eight.
Second-placed Harpenden defeated Premier Division leaders Radlett by 101 runs.
Harp scored a total of 296 for five and Radlett had no answer as they were skittled out for 195.
