A Watford FC Legends XI will take on Old Albanian CC this Friday evening as former goalkeeping legend Alec Chamberlain skippers a side against OACC for the first of the Hornets Former Players Association’s charity fund-raising T20 matches.

Led by ex-defender Neil Price, Watford’s FPA Legends XI will be in action from 6pm at OA’s The Woollam Field ground.

Players from the 1970s and 80s ready to don their whites include Steve Sherwood, Ian Bolton, Alan Mayes, Alan Paris and Keith Cassells. Jason Soloman and Derek Payne will join Steve Palmer in flying the flag for Watford’s 1990s ex-players.

Meanwhile, Brentford goalkeeper Richard Lee – who played at Vicarage Road in the 2000s – will help make up the side.

There will be a bar, BBQ, and raffle with modern clubhouse ameneties.

Entry is free but people are encouraged to buy £1 programme with the money raised going to a chosen charity.
