Harpenden Colts Under-11 Eagles battled to a 1-1 draw with the unbeaten Comet Sport Blues.

The Colts opened the scoring early on through Noah Goodhind but the pressure from Comet Sports eventually led to an equaliser.

Man-of-the-match Christian Borrell had a superb game at centre-back helping keeper Paul Maikovsky to defend his goal from wave after wave of attacks.

The Under-11 Tornadoes lost 2-1 to Hemel Athletic. Harpenden conceded twice in the first half but produced a spirited response which led to a goal from the excellent Jonny O’Sullivan.

Harpenden Under-11 Magpies ran out 5-2 winners against Hemel Stag Aces Knights. The goalscorers were man-of-the-match Alex Helsby (2), Luke Warburton, Finn Carter and Jamie Perritt.

The Under-11 Girls played St Albans City Youth and won 3-2. Mia Pinkham netted a brace and Chloe Morrison also found the net. Player of the Match was Eiyah Stephen.

Harpenden Under-10 Tigers won an exciting game 4-3 away at Harlow Town Hawks. Their goalscorers were Charlie Leach (2), Daniel Bentham and Joseph Collins.

The Under-10 Jaguars extended their winning run with a 4-1 victory over Norsemen.

Oscar Ryan (2), Oliver Connolly and Ethan Maeer all found the net while Joseph Seymour was the pick of their side.

Harpenden Under-10 Leopards lost 4-2 against Elite Feet Lions.

The side found themselves 4-0 down but mounted a comeback after goals from the impressive Cameron Smith and Jake Spiteri. The Under-10 Lions lost a hard-fought game with Cuffley Lions Blues 3-0.

Man-of-the-match was Mark Lake.
