Probuild extended their 100 per-cent record with a comfortable 5-0 win at Inn on the Green.

Steven Teale netted four goals and Richard Hall rounded off the scoring. Meanwhile, Global also came away from Asia with a 2-1 victory. James Hounslow and Rob Holmes scored for Global with a Stuart Gilzeen penalty for Asia.

St Ippolyts recorded their first victory of the season with a 4-2 win over Redbourn. Jamahl Alert bagged two goals and others came from Shane Lawless and John Ward. Redbourn’s goals came from brothers Aaron and Ed King.

Warriors XI and London Colney played out an entertaining 3-3 draw. Warriors’ scorers were Chris Eist, Steve Eldridge and Phil Hammond while Colney replied with two from James Pegrum and another from Charlie Freeman.

Shephall Centre were on the wrong end of an 8-1 loss to Potters Bar Crusaders.

Their consolation goal came from Vince Kernaghan whilst Crusaders had hat-tricks from Nathan Barnwell and Chris Adamou and a brace from Mark Wood.

Wodson Park Seniors eventually ran out 2-0 winners in a close match with St Albans Wanderers. Jack Borden opened the scoring and Jack Hoad made the game safe with Wanderers pressing towards the end.

City Hearts maintained their unbeaten start with their first win of the season beating local rivals FC Letchworth 2-0.

The game was heading for a goalless draw until substitute Kieran Anderson, back after a broken leg, broke the deadlock. An excellent Chris Dunne strike then sealed the points near the end.
