  • Alban Arena:

    The Alban Arena is a well established entertainment venue with a busy programme of touring shows, rock and pop concerts, stand-up comedians, film viewings, huge exhibitions and is also one of the most popular venues in the region for Pantomines during the festive season.

    It also has a bar and an exhibition area.

    The Arena's box office is open Monday - Saturday from 10.00am until 6.00pm. Phone bookings are available from 10.30am until 6.00pm or until 8.00pm on performance days.

  • Roman Theatre:

    Just a short walk from Verulamium Museum is the Roman Theatre, the best preserved example in Britain.

    Used originally for bear baiting and cock fighting, its fine acoustics were also perfectly suited to musical and dramatic performances.

    Close by are the foundations of a Roman town house, a sacred shrine and a row of Roman shops.
